All tests are performed to the new Information Display Measurement Standards (IDMS) recently released through the Society for Information Display (SID) and the International Committee for Display Metrology (ICDM).

Some displays require qualification to higher standards in order to be used for Medical Imaging, Avionics, and Automotive displays. Our lab is equipped to test to these higher standards and assist you in your product development.

Many new display technologies include IR emitters or receivers that may need to be characterized. Our measurement tools allow us to test over the full spectral range from UV to IR. We can help you qualify the functionality of ambient light sensors or dynamic dimming which are commonly used in mobile displays to conserve battery life. Backlight technology is also evolving rapidly. Our lab can characterize your backlight as either a complete module or the discrete LED’s. Lifetime testing of backlight modules is also available.
