LED Integrated Flux (Total Light) Measurement Services
- Total Spectral Luminous Flux
- Total Spectral Radiant Flux
Orb Optronix’ state-of-the-art NIST Tracable LED measurement services are performed within Orb’s onsite photometery and radiometery laboratory. We utilize a variety of calibrated integrating spheres to spectrally measure the total light emitted from an LED or Luminaire.
Spectral Radiant Flux is the total power in Watts emitted from a light source over the spectral range of interest. Total Radiant Flux measurements are generally used for measuring LEDs that will not be viewed by people, such as machine vision applications.
Luminous Flux a measurement of total visible light emitted from a device in lumens. Luminous Flux measurements are generally used to measure LEDs that will be viewed by people such as LED replacement bulbs or display backlights.
