Orb Optronix’ LED Measurement Laboratory specializes in the characterization, measurement and testing of discrete LEDs, LED array, LED light engines, LED replacement lamps, and LED luminaires. Orb's lab is NIST traceable and provides measurement to industry standards including IES, CIE, IEC, ANSI, DOE, CALiPER, VESA, and ENERGY STAR.

LED performance is sensitive to input power conditions and temperature. LED performance also varies as a function of lifetime. And, lifetime is highly dependent on temperature.

Our Display Testing Laboratory evaluates displays using Video Electronics Standards Association Flat Panel Display Measurement standards, commonly referred to as VESA FPDM. Tests are conducted to compare manufacturer statements with the measured output of actual displays.
